what I do
-
Yes! My photography packages prioritize film always. To ensure comprehensive coverage and variety, I complement film shots with digital images captured using film simulation settings.
-
Each project is unique, requiring a specific approach. I carefully select from my collection of film cameras -
Pentax K1000
Canon A-1
Nikon F3
Olympus MJU II
Nikon L35AF
Hasselblad 500CM
and more to capture the desired artistic style. The camera(s) I use depend on the project; and if you need me to use one in specific, it can be discussed.
-
The perfect film for your project depends on factors like availability, shooting style, and the desired aesthetic.
If you have a specific film in mind, please let me know in advance. We'll discuss all the film details before the shooting day.
Examples of films I used are: Kodak Portra 400, Kodak Portra 800, Kodak Gold 200, Kodak Ultramax 400, Fuji 200, Cinestill 400D, Ilford HP5 Plus 400, Ilfrod Delta 3200 and more.

In 2019, I embraced film photography as a way to slow down and truly connect with each image. The tangible nature of film, and the anticipation of the final result, has transformed my approach to photography. Every frame is a deliberate act of creation, resulting in images that are rich in character and nostalgia.
I started shooting film back in 2019 to develop my photography skills and let go of perfectionist editing and mindless shooting. Falling in love with this craft was neither planned nor expected. It made me experience both life and photography differently, and truthfully I’ve never been able to go back since then. There’s something so pure and sentimental about the physical light that was with you during that moment, stamping the film forever. Not only do the results look more authentic, genuine, nostalgic, and dream-like, but they relay intention. Film photography is simply mindful and artistic; a craft I will continue to hone. -
My approach to photographing will always be about capturing a poetic view. Imperfect but beautiful and real — film compliments that sight most purely. I love the use of natural light and shadow without too much editorial and human interference. Sometimes art is simply the vision, and not what you make out of the scene. I’m a sentimental person and I yearn for the peace and nostalgia in my photographs. I photograph with intention and intimacy.
pricing + logistics
-
Currently, I am based in Cairo, Egypt, but that would never stop me from traveling to wherever you need me! I’m available all around the world.
-
Yes definitely! The passport is valid and ready to go at any given minute! Traveling fees would depend on the location and would be discussed before booking. You would need to pay for roundtrip transportation, lodging, and visa fees if needed (that only applies if I’m traveling specifically for your shoot/event).
-
I always recommend contacting me to discuss dates, locations, and everything prior. Prices of packages are starting estimates, so this way you will get an accurate quote. Once you’re ready to book your date, you will pay a 50% non-refundable deposit (applies to all packages). This confirms your booking on my calendar.
The remaining balance is due up until the day before the booking or the day of.
The adjusted information will be discussed with the quotation if your booking includes travel.
delivery
-
Depending on the package picked, you should receive your results within 2 working weeks.
For an additional charge and prior planning, you can receive your results in up to 48 hours. -
Each 35mm film should have an estimate of 20 photos. Of course, you would also receive a lot more from the digital work, depending on the package chosen. It all depends on the package selected.

I’ll send a Google Drive link with all your uploaded photographs through the shared contact. If prints or add-ons are planned, they can also be delivered to your home.
